Amor Vincit Omnia ring, rustic silver ring with inscription

Inspired by ancient inscriptions carved into stone, this sterling silver ring is stamped with the words "Amor Vincit Omnia", Latin for "Lover conquers all".

The ring is handmade in pretty much the same way as it would have been by metalsmiths in the past.  Custom made steel punches are used to hammer in the inscription one letter at a time. A vintage hammer is used to give the ring a stone like texture. 

A natural patina darkens the letters and brings out the details of the rustic hammered finish, completing the vintage looks of this ring.

• 5/16 of an inch (8mm) wide and a hefty 5/64 of an inch (2mm) thick.
